REMOTE AREA MEDIC
Course Overview
- Remote Area Medic is a hands-on course designed for non-medical personnel or those with limited medical training whos vocation or recreation may require them to travel to remote regions. This course focuses on common medical conditions that are likely to occur in remote settings in which long term care may be necessary.

Additional Information
- Participants will earn American Heart Association certifications in both CPR and First Aid.
- Members of the RAM instructor team have various backgrounds in emergency and remote medicine including Special Operations medicine and EMT/Paramedic skills.
- **At the customer's request, the RAM instructor team can focus on methods of combat casualty care and injuries associated with armed conflict and battlefield conditions.
